For Privacy?

April 15, 2010

When I saw that Nadim made a door for his cubbie, I started to imagine his motivation for doing this.  I assumed that he didn’t want others seeing inside, and that the door was for some added privacy.

When I asked him the other day, however, he smiled and told me it was “to keep everything in.”

This and the previous post are lessons for me against making assumptions about childrens’ work.  Not everything is always as it seems.

It’s all about perspective. Wonderful reminder.
